Booked for a 5 days trip to Meghalaya from 8th to 12th Feb 2026.

In this review I'll not only describe the car but also Mr. Pinku Debnath.

I had booked the car from Debnath Tours and Travels by searching on Google Maps. Mr. Pinku Debnath is the owner of this agency and he himself drives one of the cars which happens to be an Innova Crysta. We got the cheapest rate from him. In our trip we feel lucky to have him in the driving seat. He is a very very experienced driver and he is driving the agency and the entire fleet for the last 27 years.

He maintains his cars exceptionally well. Neat, clean, odour-free interior and flawless exterior makes riding experience outstanding. AC works perfectly well. His driving skill is outstanding. I've personally never enjoyed riding a car this much till date. He is fluent in Bengali, Hindi and English. He knows the routes and is well informed about any road closures too.

As a person he is a pure gentleman who is very professional, honest, kind, humble and knowledgeable. He is very simple & funny by nature and will definitely put a smile on your face during your entire journey. We all enjoyed the entire trip riding with him and never felt bored. We enjoyed his company as much as we enjoyed the trip. I can definitely say that he became a family member during our trip and stood like our elder brother. When he dropped us at Guwahati Railway Station we all really started to miss him a lot. I hope to meet him and travel northeast India with him again in future.

Apart from driving the car and the whole agency he also makes all kinds of hotels, homestay and resort bookings if the customer asks for so, at best available rates.

If anyone is reading this review I'll say them to book with him without a second thought.

I would like to share a small but memorable experience with everyone reading this. My friend Aminul arranged this trip through a Google search, and all I knew was that we would be traveling in a new Toyota Innova for comfort.
After arriving at Guwahati station, we met our driver, Mr. Pinku Debnath, who also turned out to be the owner of the car and the agency. From that very moment, we felt we were in safe and reliable hands.
As the days went by, our journey became smoother and more enjoyable, all thanks to his witty humor, professionalism, and warm personality. He is such a charming and humble person that not once did it feel like he was just our driver — it felt like we were traveling with a friend.
There’s a saying that in a journey, the company matters more than the destination — and we truly experienced that because of him. I have traveled before, but this particular road trip will always remain special in my memory.
Before we knew it, our five-day trip came to an end. When it was time to say goodbye, we all had teary eyes — that says everything about the bond we formed during the journey.
Pinku da, I genuinely took time to write this review for you, and I don’t usually write such long reviews for anyone. Thank you for making our trip so comfortable, safe, and unforgettable. Hopefully, we’ll meet again soon! 😊

My husband arranged this car through Debnath Tours and Travels after locating them on Google Maps. The owner, Pinku Debnath, himself accompanied us as the driver for the entire journey, which truly enhanced our experience.
The vehicle was in excellent condition—spotless cabin, pleasant interior, comfortable seats, and efficient air conditioning. Traveling through the winding and hilly roads of Meghalaya felt steady and reassuring.
Mr. Pinku is an extremely skilled and seasoned driver with thorough knowledge of the region’s roads and travel conditions. He speaks Bengali, Hindi, and English fluently, making communication effortless. His familiarity with routes and updates about road situations helped us avoid unnecessary delays.
Beyond his driving, his nature made a lasting impression. He is courteous, sincere, soft-spoken, and cheerful. His friendly conversations kept the atmosphere lively, and we never felt tired or bored during the long drives. Over the course of the trip, he didn’t feel like a hired driver but more like a family member traveling along with us. Saying goodbye at Guwahati Railway Station was genuinely emotional for all of us.

Debnath Tour and Travels is an outstanding travel agency. Their hotel accommodation and food arrangements were excellent. The agent, Pinku Debnath da, is himself a very polite and kind gentleman. It truly felt like we were traveling through Assam and Meghalaya with our own elder brother. We were deeply impressed by such warmth, sincerity, and hospitality.
